Ok, you have the completed the following tasks:
• You have decided on the type of vehicle that you want to purchase.
• You know your credit score.
• You know how much your trade in is worth.
• You know how much you can afford to spend on a vehicle.
• You possibly have the name of a salesperson that was referred to you.
• You have secured a loan with your credit union or bank.
So you take the plunge and drive onto the dealership lot. As you drive up, 14 salespeople surround your car smiling and smelling of cigarettes. know what they know. If you simply just want to look around, salespeople will give you all the room in the world if they think that you don’t have any money and have horrible credit. If they refuse to let you look without shadowing you, you might ask one of them if they can finance a car for you if you have a 375 beacon score (which we will talk about later.) They will scatter like rats and you will have all the room in the world to look. Since salespeople work on straight commission, if you do not have a salesperson in mind already, get the business card of the salesperson you would like to work with so he or she gets the commission.
